The implementation of Fuzzy DBMS (DataBase Management System) will be determined by the development of applications that take advantage of the capabilities of these ones to operate with flexible information when solving real-life problems. In this sense, different areas of application have appeared, and in this book, some examples are collected, such as data mining , information retrieval, content-based image retrieval, and classical applications in the management field, improved with the possibility of manipulating flexible information.

Sistemas de Gestión de Bases de Datos Difusas será determinado por el desarrollo de aplicaciones que aprovechan las capacidades de estos para operar con información ágil en la resolución de problemas reales. En este sentido, han aparecido diferentes áreas de aplicación, y en este libro, se muestran algunos ejemplos, como la minería de datos , recuperación de información, recuperación de imágenes basadas en el contenido, y las aplicaciones clásicas en el campo de la gestión, mejora con la posibilidad de manipular información flexible.
